What I Eat In A Week (July 2020)

For those who think vegan food is always colorful, vibrant, or even “healthy,” this blog post is for you. The truth is, we’re all human--and even though making my food look appealing is a fun hobby, I don’t always eat carefully crafted meals. My meals are easy, they’re simple, and they’re (sometimes) filled with junk food!

7 Easy Workout Ideas

Want to know where to start? I’ve made a list below of some of my go-to workouts! Many of these are low intensity and can be a lot of fun. I’d much rather eat food than move my body, so I try to pick things that I will enjoy (i.e., dancing, yoga, or dog spotting walks)!

Personally, I think the first step to understanding this is knowing that veganism is more than just a fad diet; it’s a belief system or lifestyle. It’s belief that transcends the food itself

Winter Thrift Finds

I love thrifting, and more often than not, I’ve discovered all of these things during shopping trips. Here are a couple of my favorite winter thrift finds. I hope this gives you an idea of some of the clothes you can find shopping secondhand and inspires you to try to shop less “fast fashion” this year!

A Guide to Vegan Supplements

I know when I first went vegan, I was reading the back of food labels like crazy. Trying to distinguish whether certain ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce at times were vegan was a lot to handle. Once I got the hang of food though, I never thought to take a look at the medications I was taking. Many supplements are made with gelatin casings or shellfish extracts, which if I could avoid these ingredients in my medications, I was definitely going to try to!
