Vegan Fish Tacos with Avocado Crema

Vegan Fish Tacos with Avocado Crema

I love any kind of taco, but fish tacos might actually be my favorite! Luckily, these vegan fish tacos are a quick dinner and full of flavor. Gardein makes the best vegan fish and once these filets are crispy, they combine perfectly with homemade avocado crema, tangy pickled cabbage, and flour tortillas.

Vegan Fish Tacos with Avocado Crema

1 package Gardein golden fishless filets

lemon pepper

1 avocado

1/2 cup cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

salt

1/2 lettuce, chopped

pickled cabbage or coleslaw (Click here for the cabbage recipe and here for coleslaw!)

flour tortillas

  1. Sprinkle lemon pepper seasoning on the Gardein filets and cook them in an air fryer on 400 or in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until they’re golden and crispy.

  2. While the fish is cooking, make the avocado crema. Combine the avocado, 1/4 cup of cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, and a dash of salt in a blender and blend until smooth. Add a little water to thin out, as needed.

  3. To prepare the tacos, layer lettuce, the vegan fish, pickled cabbage, avocado crema, cilantro or scallions, and your favorite hot sauce. Enjoy!
